<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the traveling behavior of a strip extremely easily and accurately by measuring a measured value which shows tensile internal stress, calculating difference from the tensile internal stress by making the value into an actual value with a control circuit and, in the case the actual value is different from the reference value, adjusting the traveling of the strip at least by rolling force of the rolls of a roll stand. SOLUTION: A rolling line consists of two roll stands 1, 1' and has work rolls 2a, 2b, 2a', 2b'. By providing devices 4 for measuring the tensile internal stress of the strip between both the roll stands 1, 1' and measuring the measured values which show the tensile internal stress with the measuring devices 4 on the opposite side of the running-out strip 5, the difference from the tensile internal stress is calculated by making the values into the measured value in the control circuit. When the actual value is different from the reference value, by changing rolling force of the roll by making the gap between the rolls 2a, 2b of one roll stand 1 smaller, the behavior of the strip 5 is corrected. The value of the tensile internal stress is measured with a load cell.</p> |
