<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deoxidizer each lot of products of which is never detected by metal detectors and stably high in deoxidizing power and which has a low moisture content suitable for preservation of dry foods, e.g. laver or tea, apt to be damaged by moisture. SOLUTION: This deoxidizer comprises a low molecular weight phenol compound and activated carbon, wherein the activated carbon is >=8.5 in pH, 0.1 to 10 wt.% in moisture content, 1,500 ppm in iron content and >=0.3 ml/g in cumulative pore volume relative to the pore diameters of <=300Å.</p> |
