COMPRESSION GRANULATION METHOD FOR FILM TYPE WASTE PLASTIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film type waste plastic treatment method for enhancing the treatment effect of a melting granulation apparatus. SOLUTION: The film type waste plastic charged in a crusher 2 by a supply conveyor 1 is crushed into a proper size by the crusher 2 to be fed to an improper matter sorter 4 by a first transfer conveyor 3. Subsequently, foreign matter such as a metal or the like is sorted and removed by the improper matter sorter and the crushed plastic after sorting is introduced into a pressure type compressure supply apparatus by a second feed conveyor 5 and compressed by the compression supply apparatus 6 to increase the bulk density of the film type waste plastic. The film type waste plastic increased in bulk density is fed to a granulator 7 and the waste plastic heated and granulated by the granulator 7 is stored in a silo 9 by a third transfer conveyor 8 and blown into a blast furnace (not shown in a drawing) as a raw material. By this constitution, the bulk density of the film type waste plastic is increased by the compression supply apparatus and melting granulation efficiency is enhanced and a granulation treatment amt. is increased and handling becomes easy.
