PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly incline and rotate by transferring the both engagement faces of a projecting spherical shape and a recessed spherical shape provided in one of an upper member and a base member or other from the friction engagement state to a non-engagement state by a drive mechanism. SOLUTION: A platform 7, or an upper member for supporting a display main body 5 which constitutes a support 3 along with a base member 7 is provided with a spherical projecting face 11 in its bottom center and a fan- shaped recess 13 extending in the front rear direction. When a recessed face 15 formed in the top center of a base member 9 is spherically engaged with a projecting face 11 of the platform 7 complementarily, the recessed face 15 and the projecting face 11 are mutually fixed by friction engagement. When the platform 7 is raised according to the rotation of an operation shaft 35 by a drive mechanism 31, the friction engagement state between the projecting face 11 and the recessed face 15 is disengaged to form a clearance α between them so that rotation movement about the vertical shaft 19 and the inclination movement about the horizontal shaft 23 of the platform 7 in this disengagement state can be easily implemented. |
