PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent whirling vibrations by absorbing rattling generated with respect to a shaft using a taper bushing. SOLUTION: This composite material flywheel device is composed of a flywheel 20 of such a structure that a plastic spoke 22 reinforced with fibers having a lower modulus of elasticity than a high-strength carbon fiber is fitted by a press fitting means into a plastic ring 21 reinforced with high-strength carbon fibers, a taper bushing 32 to be fitted in a truncated cone-shaped shaft hole 31 formed in the center of the spoke, and a spring means 33 to press the bushing 32 toward the spoke.
