PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of collecting contamination particles by arranging a hydraulic adjusting device having interacting two pressure chambers, and molding the recessed parts on the radial directional side peripheral surface of a pulley in a wall part area of the pressure chambers in a device for relatively changing a rotary position of a camshaft to a driving pulley. SOLUTION: An inside part 2 having four webs 4c extending in the radial direction of a hydraulic adjusting device, is fitted to and installed in the free end part of a camshaft of an internal combustion engine, and a volume wheel (a driving pulley) 5 is arranged so as to surround the inside part 2. The volume wheel 5 also has four webs 6c projecting inside in the radial direction, a part between the webs 6c, 6c is formed as a volume chamber, the volume chamber is respectively partitioned into two pressure chambers by the webs 4c of the inside part 2, and a rotary position of the camshaft and the driving pulley 5 is relatively changed by applying fluid pressure to the pressure chambers. In this case, a large number of recessed parts 25 are formed over a width of the pressure chambers in a range of the webs 4c, 6c on the inner peripheral surface of the driving pulley 5 to collect contamination particles. |
