发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ACHIEVING FINE SURFACE FINISHING IN WIRE CUT ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING DEVICE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the inconvenience of difficult machining caused by the gradual reduction of electric discharge energy in proportion to more demand for finer surface roughness, which is needed because the electric discharge energy of a region for achieving surface roughness of 24μmRmax or lower is very small and a machining space is narrow. SOLUTION: Two power source devices and an electrode polarity switching system are used. A first high energy output source is used for machining a first profile shape, and also used for next machining once or more while adjusting the parameter of a machining pulse, and feeding offset to increase surface finishing having lesser roughness. A wire electrode is held at a negative machining potential. While continuing to maintain the wire electrode at a negative machining polarity, a second power source device and a smaller offset value are used for subsequent machining for forming surface roughness having a lower value. Lastly, an offset is further reduced to form a fine finishing surface of Rmax of about 1μm or lower, and the wire electrode polarity is reversed.
