PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the abnormality of a water level detecting tube itself and effect normal water supply control. SOLUTION: A water supply control device 10 is provided with an upper header 2 a lower header 3 and an air separator 5 while a water level electrode rod E1 as well as a water level electrode rod E2 are installed in a first water level detecting tube 8, connected to the air separator 5 and the lower header 3, and a water level electrode rod EK is installed in a second water level detecting tube 9, connected to the upper header 2 and the lower header 3, respectively. When the water level electrode rod E2 or the water level electrode rod EK has detected no water, the starting of water supply is outputted but when the water level electrode rod E1 has detected the existence of water, the stopping of water supply is outputted. In this case, the time of elapse from starting the water supply is detected when the water level electrode rod EK has detected no water and when the water level electrode rod E1 has not detected the existence of water even when the time of elapse is arrived at a predetermined time, the first water level detecting tube is decided that the same is abnormal.
