PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan device that can secure a prescribed discharge air amount by sucking sufficient amount of air into a fan casing, even when a clearance on the upper surface side of the fan casing is narrow in which an intake port is arranged. SOLUTION: This fan device is equipped with a fan casing 2 wherein there are a bottom wall 4 and a peripheral wall 5, an inside space of these bottom wall 4 and the peripheral wall 5 is a fan accommodating portion 3, the upper surface side of the fan accommodating portion 3 opens as an intake port 6, and an exhaust opening 7 is formed on a part of the peripheral wall 5, and a fan stored in the fan accommodating portion 3 in the fan casing 2, and a driving means for driving this fan. In this fan device, driving of the driving means rotates the fan, and this rotation causes air suction from the intake port 6 and air exhaustion from the exhaust opening 7, and a plurality of ventilation passage 25 passing from the outer periphery of the fan casing 2 to the intake port 6 are formed on the upper surface of the peripheral wall 5 of the fan casing 2.
