PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure ground strength, sample a ground specimen and facilitate the injection of a solidification agent by slidably mounting a pipe-like press rod with an auger rod as a hollow shaft, and continuously providing a measuring cone or a specimen sampling vessel on the edge. SOLUTION: An auger 3 is liftably provided along a leader 2 erected on a mobile heavy equipment, and an auger rod 4 is rotated and driven through a gear box 5 to be excavated by an auger head 6. The auger rod 4 is made hollow, a pipe-like press rod 10 is slidably mounted, a measuring cone 11 continuously provided on the edge is pressed on a ground by a hydraulic cylinder 12', press force is detected by a load cell 13', and an amount of press-in is detected by press-in amount measuring projections 14a-c and a press-in amount measuring switch 15. A specimen sampling vessel is continuously provided in place of the measuring cone 11, and a solidification agent such as cement milk can be injected through the press rod 10. Thus, ground strength measuring, ground specimen sampling and solidification agent injection can be performed.
