INSTALLING METHOD FOR ELEVATOR SEISMOMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the installation of a bracket for installing a seismometer, reduce a wiring process from the seismometer to a control panel and prevent a malfunction due to contact of a worker with the seismometer. SOLUTION: A spacer 30 is installed between a control panel 8 and a machine room floor 1a, a bracket 31 is installed in the spacer 30 and a seismometer 11 is installed in this bracket 31. This spacer 30 is a base for installing the control panel 8 on the machine room floor 1a, has high rigidity and is capable of following up swinging of the machine room floor 1a. By installing the seismometer 11 in this spacer 30 within the control panel 8 by the bracket 31, a malfunction due to opening and closing of the control panel 8 and a contact with a worker is prevented and occurrence of an earthquake can be detected in the same way as a conventional way.
