PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax extrusion feeling generated by engaging a forwarding clutch when an engine is restarted. SOLUTION: When restart of an engine is executed by a reason not based on a driver's intention of starting a vehicle (for instance, reduction in a charging amount of a battery, etc.), execution of rapid pressure intensifying control is ceased to retard a supply command (S330→S380→S390) of an oil pressure, so that engaging timing to a predetermined clutch of a transmission is retarded as compared with a case (S340→S400) of restarting an engine by a reason based on the driver's intention of starting the vehicle.
