PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for carrying a seedling box, making it possible to carry the seedling box placed on a floor in an easy posture. SOLUTION: This holder for carrying a seedling box is obtained by forming a catching holder portion 6 at the lower end of a handle 1. When a seedling box 5 is carried using the catching holder portion 6, the side peripheral wall 5B of the seedling box 5 is caught by the catching holder portion 5. Thereby, the seedling box 5 can be carried in a horizontal state in the easy posture of a worker without needing a tight posture that the waist of the worker is bent. Since the seedling box 5 can be carried in the horizontal state without tilting the seedling box 5, the seedlings in the seedling box 5 are not moved on one side.
