PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of bead durability performance when a bias tire for low noise small truck having an HMLS polyester cord used in a carcass ply is manufactured by using a conventional nylon mold. SOLUTION: A carcass ply is formed of a rubber-covered cord fabric cord layer, wherein high orientation, low heat-shrinkage property, and high fatigue characteristics polyester cords, having an elastic modules of 65 g/d or over and the coefficient of heat shrinkage of 3.5% or less at 177 deg.C measured by a method determined in JIS L1017 (1983 edition), are arranged in parallel to each other and embedded in rubber. An apex rubber 5 approximately in a triangle in a meridian section extending in a state to taper off toward the outside in the radial direction along a carcass ply is arranged adjacently to the outside in the radial direction of a bead core 1.
