PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of a sound and vibration by starting a wiping after the reverse motion of a wiper blade becomes smooth and in a slant angle. SOLUTION: A blade slant angle switching mechanism 20 is composed of a pair of right/left projections 21L, 21R formed expandingly to an arm piece 16 and a pair of right/left kick blocks 23, 23 provided on a window W side. A wiper blade 17 is installed on the arm piece 16 and a roller 40 is installed on the lower part of a retainer 13 and a pair of right/left pieces with a slant surface 30, 30 are installed on the window W.
