PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and a cost of a torsion beam type rear suspension. SOLUTION: A gusset equivalent part 22 for joining to a tray ring arm 12 is integrally formed at the two end parts in the longitudinal direction of a torsion beam 10. Thus, compared with a case that a gusset is a different part and a case that the gusset is formed integrally with the tray ring arm, the number of part items is reduced (i.e., reduced to one part). Thus, the weight and a cost of a torsion beam type rear suspension are reduced. Besides, since coining work is applied on the prescribed range of the terminal part 10A of the torsion beam 10, fatigue strength is also improved.
