PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transfer burr and an uneveness from being generated by a method wherein for a printing film which is constituted by laminating a release varnish layer, a color ink layer and an adhesive varnish layer in order on one of the surfaces of a transparent resin film, and the release varnish layer and the adhesive varnish layer are made approx. the same dimension in the width direction as the color ink layer, and a continuous solid printing is applied in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: A transparent heat-resistant resin film which is wound into a roll-shape is made a base material 1, and after feeding out the base material, a transparent release varnish layer 3 is printed on one of the surfaces, and on the top of the release varnish layer 3, a color ink layer 2 showing patterns and characters or the like is printed, and on the top of the color ink layer 2, a transparent adhesive varnish layer 4 to adhere the color ink layer 2 to an article to be printed, is provided in order, and thus, this printing film for printing/heat- transfer is obtained. In this case, the widths of the release varnish layer 3 and the adhesive varnish layer 4 are roughly made to meet the width of the color ink layer, and in the meantime, the varnish layers 3, 4 are provided to be endless in the longitudinal direction. By this method, burr and uneveness are prevented from being generated at the edges of a designed part in the width direction, and at the same time, a register in the longitudinal direction is made unnecessary.
