PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant which has no problem in safety and stability and has high deodorizing effect to many kinds of malodor. SOLUTION: This solution type deodorant is composed of gluconic acid salt, paraphenolsulfonic acid salt or sulfuric acid salt, an ampholytic surface active agent and a solvent therefor. In this case, preferably the concentration of each salt is 0.05 wt.%-10.0 wt.%, and the concentration of ampholytic surface active agent is 0.1 wt.%-10.0 wt.%.
