PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tidy up a carpet with a temporarily stuck stain-proof sheet on its surface efficiently by using an adhesive leaving no adhesive remain on the surface of the carpet after removal of the stain-proof sheet for temporarily sticking the stain-proof sheet. SOLUTION: The surface of a carpet used for display in an exhibition and the like easily attracts dirt because partitions are arranged or decorating work and the like is carried out after installation, so that the surface of the carpet is covered with a stain-proof sheet temporarily fixed for preventing pollution. After installation and the like is finished, the temporarily fixed stain-proof sheet is peeled off, and a viscous agent or an adhesive leaving no remain on the carpet surface in this process is used. That is, an adhesive provided with a peeling strength of 0.3-10.0 kg/3 cm between the stain-proof sheet and the carpet is used.
