PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double floor utilizing a base which can be made compact without being bulky at the time of transporting and storing. SOLUTION: When bases 1 are vertically piled up in the same direction, since the upper ends of support bodies 5A, 5C, 5F of a lower base 1 are fitted in the lower openings of the support bodies 5A, 5C, 5F of an upper base 1, and a plurality of bases 1 do not become bulky even if they are piled up, a plurality of bases 1 can be transported and kept in a compact state. In addition, since the relative lateral movement of the base 1 is restricted by fitting, articles hardly unfasten.
