PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply lubricating oil to each part even when an oil pan is vertically inclined. SOLUTION: In a wet sump lubricating four cycle engine unit, a crank shaft 16 is substantially horizontally supported by means of bearings 21A, 21B formed on a crank 'case 11. Lubricating oil is supplied to each parts of an engine main body 10 from an oil pan 22 formed on a lower portion of the crank case 11 by means of a supply pump 61. After lubrication, the lubricating oil is collected in the oil pan 22. In such a case, the oil pan 22 is integrated with the crank case 11. A suctioning passage 23 is extended along an axis of the crank shaft 1t on the axially center side of the crank shaft 16 for suctioning the lubricating oil from the oil pan 22 to the supply pump 61, and integrated with a bottom of the oil pan 22.
