PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an extra cutting tool from a housing rapidly and easily by providing a retaining member to be fixed, in a pivotally movable manner, to the housing, adjacent to a storage compartment. SOLUTION: An arm part 40 is supported, in a freely pivotally movable manner, on a pair of trunnions 48 formed at the bottom wall part 24b of a field case part of a housing. Thus the retaining member is rotatable pivoted around the arm part 40 between an open position and a close position. A gear case cover part 52 encircling the gear train of a saw 10 and also forming one of the end walls of a blade storage chamber 24 is positioned adjacent to the nearby wall part 24 of the housing. The gear case cover part 52 has a first recessed part 54 and a second recessed part 56 to be separated from each other by a shoulder part 58. When a fixed cam 42 is set in the closed position, it is positioned in the recessed part 54. At this position, the retaining member cannot be moved without an assisting outer force to be imparted to a shoulder part 46 by an operator. Consequently an extra saw blade 26 is retained in the blade storage chamber 24.
