REINFORCING METHOD FOR PIN HOLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten strength of a pin hole constituting a pin joint. SOLUTION: A sleeve 4 for matching the inside diameter of a pin hole 2 is engaged in the pin hole 2 provided to a structure member 1. A round bar 5 is inserted in the sleeve 4 while it being rotated, so that friction heating causes plastic flowing. The round bar 5 is puled out at the point when the sleeve 4 is fully plastic-fluidized. The sleeve 4 is closely connected to an inner wall face of the pin hole 2 and cladded. Thereby, the pin hole 2 is reinforced in a manner that deformation is little and the material variation of a base metal of the structure member is small.
