This invention relates to trenching apparatus (1) most commonly used for digging and maintaining drainage channels/trenches alongside roads, along fence lines and on a variety of properties. In one embodiment of the invention the trenching apparatus (1) includes a body (3) attachable to the power takeoff/hydraulic system (11) of a vehicle (7). The body (3) is capable of rotation about its radial axis. The body (3) includes a substantially open frame (4, 5) that supports multiple digging apparatus (6). The trenching apparatus (1) is characterised in that during rotation of the body (3) the digging apparatus (6) transfers either or both materials and liquids into the body (3) from the trench being excavated or maintained. The materials/liquids are then discharged from the rotating body (3) in a substantially uniform manner onto adjacent surfaces. |
