The invention relates to an industrial truck, especially provided for automobile body structures for manufacturing automobiles, comprising carriages (16) which are guided along a hall floor and on which a lifting device (30) is arranged. According to the invention, the lifting device can rotate at least approximately 90 DEG around a vertical axis and comprises means in the load plane, i.e. in the plane of the elevating platform. Said means are provided for bringing the elevating platform and the transported object carried thereon into an overhanging position so that an automobile body (70), in particular, is at least partially accessible from underneath. In this manner, it should be possible, for example, to install the engine and transmission from underneath without requiring the body structure to be transferred to expensive suspended conveying installations or the like. |
