PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading device of a recording medium capable of reducing the cost by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A 1st engaging part 31a formed on an elastic part 31 is engaged with an engaging piece 2a provided on a holder 2 for locking by the elastic deformation of the elastic part 31 provided on an eject lever 3 when the recording medium is inserted up to the position where the insertion of the holder 2 is completed, and also the recording medium is made to rotate to the reproducible position for loading by the rotation of the holder 2 in the direction H, and a 2nd engaging part 31b is arranged on a notched part 6a of a release angle 6 provided integrally with a base 1. At the time of unloading, the 2nd engaging part 31b and the release angle 6 are engaged when the recording medium is retreated from the reproducible position by the rotation of the holder 2 in the direction G, then the lock is released by the elastic deformation of the elastic part 31, and the recording medium M is retreated from the insertion- completed position by an eject spring 5.
