IMPROVED IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL DYEING METHOD AND REAGENT THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved immunohistochemical dyeing method and a reagent therefor. SOLUTION: The assay area of a slide is washed with a rinse solution consisting of water and a washing agent. An evaporation suppressing liquid is adapted to the slide to cover the assay area. With respect to an antigen requiring unmasking, a slice of tissue is combined with an improved and stabilized protease solution. The slide is rinsed and the evaporation suppressing liquid is again adapted to the slide. A primary antibody in an improved diluent containing globulin frame from the same kind as a second antibody is combined with the slice of tissue for a time sufficient to substantially complete the bonding of the antibody. The slide is rinsed and the evaporation suppressing liquid is again adapted. The labelled second antibody in the improved diluent is combined with the slice of tissue for a time sufficient to complete the bonding of the antibody substantially.
