PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satisfactory image free from banding image or ground contamination by rotating a latent image carrier in a forward direction to a developer carrier by a contact part and reducing the coefficient of friction of the surface in a contact development type image forming device. SOLUTION: A developing roller 4 is driven so that the rotating direction is normal in the nipping part with a photoreceptor drum 1, and the coefficient of frictionμof the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 is set to 0.1<=μ<=0.4. According to this, the resistance of the photoreceptor drum and the developing roller to a rotating drive system is minimized to reduce the banding image, and the non-electrostatic adhesive force of toner by van der Vaals force to the photoreceptor drum surface is reduced, so that a satisfactory image free from ground contamination can be provided. |
