PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flyback pulse component produced for a horizontal fly-back period of a video image from entering into a video recording signal due to a phase shift of a synchronizing signal in each television signal and from resulting in crosstalks in a television receiver that receives a plurality of television input signals. SOLUTION: This television receiver that receives a plurality of television input signals is provided with a synchronizing separator section 6, that extracts synchronizing signals from video signals of a plurality of the television signals and with a phase control section 7 that matches the phases of the extracted synchronizing signals. Since the phase of the synchronizing signal of the video signal outputted from the phase control section has already been matched with the phase of the synchronizing signal of the television signal to be displayed on the television receiver, the television receiver is not affected by crosstalks onto the video recording signal due to a flyback pulse component of the television signal.
