摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine equipment failure without depending on the experience and intuition of experts. SOLUTION: The operation variate of equipment under normal conditions is measured (S1). From the data of the measurement, variate data under anomalous conditions is estimated (S2). An AR model (autoregressive linear prediction model) is formed on each case under normal conditions and anomalous conditions (S3 and S4). Expressions D12 and D22 of Mahalanobis distance are obtained on the basis of the AR models (S6 and S7). The above-mentioned steps are preparations. At the time of diagnosing equipment, variate data is actually measured to form AR models. Whether it is normal or anomalous is determined on the basis of the closeness of the models.
