PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a compressor by securely preventing bad lubrication in a compressor. SOLUTION: A high temperature side refrigerating circuit 20 and a low temperature side refrigerating circuit are connected with each other through a refrigerant heat exchanger, and in a binary refrigerating apparatus a compression mechanism 80 composed of two compressors 21a, 21b is provided in the high temperature side refrigerating circuit 20. Each compressor 21a, 21b includes unloading circuits 46a, 46b and is adapted to be capacity variable. An oil equalizing pipe 47 is connected with a housing of both compressors 21a, 21b. Oil equalization operation is effected by an oil equalizing operation section 71 every time operation time of the first compressor 21a is 2 hours in accumulation. In the oil equalizing operation, the first compressor 21a is operated with full load, and the second compressor 21b is operated with no load for 1 minute, and thereafter the first compressor 21a is operated with no load and the second compressor 21b is operated with full load for 1 minute. Thus, the oil equalizing operation section 71 effects the oil equalizing operation keeping both compressors 21a, 21b in an operation state.
