PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform shaving on the inner circumferential surface of a stator by coining the stator and then extruding the inner circumferential surface thereof in the radial direction. SOLUTION: A pilot hole 2 and a rotor shaft hole 3 are punched from a metal rod material 1 and then the outer circumference 4 of a rotor is punched and laminated to form a rotor core. Subsequently, the slot part 5 of the stator is formed and the coining region 6 of the stator is coined and the inner circumferential surface 7 thereof is extruded in the radial direction. Thereafter, a half die cutting part region 8 is cut from the inner circumferential surface 7 of the stator which is then shaven. Finally, the pole teeth part 9 of the stator is shaped and the profile 10 of the stator is punched and laminated to form a stator core. Since the interval between the outer circumferential surface 4 of the rotor and the inner circumferential surface 7 of the stator can be decreased even if the inner circumferential surface 7 is subjected to shaving, motor characteristics are not damaged.
