PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to connect portable telephone service even when a fault occurs in a link or the like by connecting an outgoing call from a por table telephone set in an emergency to a public telephone network through a base station, a base station controller and a mobile exchange. SOLUTION: Each base station (BTS) is driven as a repeater radio base station so as to continue a portable telephone service even when a link between the BTS and a public telephone network is disconnected. Namely an outgoing call generated from a portable telephone set (MS) 30 in emergency can be connected to the public telephone network through an adjacent BTS, a base station controller(BSC) and a mobile switching center(MSC). Since a link between a BTS 20-1 receiving the outgoing call and a BSC 10-1 is disconnected the BTS 20-1 transfers the call to other BTSs 20-2, etc., and the call is terminated from a BTS 20-5 linked to the public telephone network to a fire station 50 or the like through a BSC 10-3 and an MSC 40-2. In this case, the transfer of the call can be realized by an emergency recognition means in the BTS and a call control means to be a BTS repeater. |
