PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting object extraction procession capable of correctly extracting an object to be detected without any erroneous detection, without being affected by luminance fluctuation or shadow in an outdoor environment where direct rays of the sun are made incident, and without losing any characteristics of the object. SOLUTION: This processor is constituted of an auto-iris lens 1, a double speed CCD color camera 2, an RGB converting part 3, A/D converting parts, 41, 42 and 43, RGB image memories 51, 52 and 53, a hue arithmetic part 6, a reference memory 7, a sample image memory 8, and a difference processing part 9. A difference processing with the hue of a video outputted from the double speed CCD color camera is operated so that the object can correctly be extracted.
