PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger device for a base isolation structure capable of reusing a trigger function, without regular energization required, preventing trigger operation from being influenced by weight of a base isolation object, and facilitating restoration after the operation, and capable of corresponding to miniaturization. SOLUTION: An upper end side of a pin 20 is mounted capable of protruding/ sinking in a vertical direction in a base part 13 provided in an upper plate 3. A weight 24 is mounted in an upper end of the pin 20 at stationary time, so as to hold a lower end side of the pin 20 in a condition inserted to through holes 15, 16 provided in a lower plate 1 and an intermediate plate 2 against urging force of a coil spring 21. By moving the weight 24 from a position loaded in the upper end of the pin 20, the lower end side of the pin 20 is extracted from the through holes 15, 16 provided in the lower plate 1 and the intermediate plate 2 by urging force of the coil spring 21.
