PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the remote reception display device for a portable telephone set that displays the fact of reception for the user of the portable telephone set by means of a method other than a tone even in a restaurant where bright lighting is installed or even when the user wears clothing without a pocket. SOLUTION: This remote reception display device for a portable telephone set is provided with a detection means that detects a radio wave generated by a portable telephone set 1 at the reception of an incoming call, a voltage generating means that generates prescribed voltage according to a signal generated by the detection means, a motor that is driven by voltage generated by the voltage generating means, and a main body section 40 that contains the detection means, the voltage generating means and the motor and at least a part of which is moved through driving of the motor.
