PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system capable of easily and surely setting of a network device. SOLUTION: The network system is constituted by connecting a client PC 101 being a host device, a printer 102, a printer 103, a printer 104 and a scanner 105 through a network cable 106. In this constitution, network setting data is previously recorded in a setting content file. In setting a new device, the network connecting board of the new device can easily be set by referring to the setting content file. In addition, the setting utility confirms the setting date of setting data of the setting content file by each previously set time and if the set data of the setting content file is updated, it updates the network connecting board of each network device to easily and surely set the network device.
