PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a semiconductor memory for accurately transferring internal data at a high speed. SOLUTION: Data buses DB0, DB1 are respectively disposed one by one corresponding to pads PPD0, PPD1. The buses are disposed commonly at a plurality of memory arrays 2a to 2d. A read data driver is selectively activated according to a word organization, and the connection of the arrays to the buses is equivalently switched.
