PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device capable of keeping stable printing quality. SOLUTION: Between an exposing device 104 and an electrostatic latent image carrier 101, a pair of electrodes 117, 119 are arranged in mutually opposed positions with the emitting optical axis of an exposing device 104 between within the plane orthogonal to the emitting optical axis, an external high-voltage power source 118 is connected to the electrode 117, and an external high-voltage power source 120 is connected to the electrode 119. Potential necessary for preventing the toner contamination of the exposing device are imparted from the power sources 118, 120 to the electrodes 117, 119, whereby a potential distribution is formed so as to shift the scattering direction of the toner 107 left on the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 from the light emitting surface (lens surface). Accordingly, even if the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 is repeatedly used, the lens surface of the exposing device 104 can be prevented from being contaminated with the toner. |
