PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool an image carrier and to prevent discharge product substance from retaining in a discharge device while restraining a device from getting large and cost from rising by providing a suction fan for introducing outside air in an image forming device main body and a suction duct for guiding the air so that it may be supplied to the inside of the image carrier. SOLUTION: The air introduced in an image forming device body 25 by a suction fan 23 flows in a suction duct 24, and separately flows to either a duct part 24A or the other duct part 24B. A 1st air current F1 flowing in either duct part 24A passes through an aperture part 11 formed in a casing 9 of an electrifying charger 6 and is cast to the surface of a photoreceptor 1, then guided by an exhaust duct from the vicinity area of the surface of the photoreceptor and discharged to the outside of the body 25. An ozone filter and a ventilating fan are provided in the exhaust duct, and the air passing the charger 6 is forcibly discharged to the outside of the body 25 by the ventilating fan. |
