<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mechanical durability and environmental resistance, to lower the cost, and to enable even a physically handicapped person to easily operate the device by applying signals to sense electrodes for an X and a Y axis in sequence, performing capacity coupling by an electrode provided to a wireless mouse body, and finding a coordinate position through the operation of a control part. SOLUTION: To detect which X axis of a tablet, for example, the 1st electrode of a wireless mouse 3 is on, a control part controls a multiplexer to connect and disconnect respective X-axial sense electrodes in order. When the wireless mouse 3 is placed on the tablet, a larger signal which is sent from the 1st electrode 15 is induced as larger capacitive coupling is generated at a sense electrode closer to the 1st electrode 15 of the wireless mouse 3. The signal is a signal of the frequency band corresponding to the frequency of the sent signal of the 1st electrode 15, so the potential of the detection signal is evaluated through A/D conversion to decide which of X-axial sense electrodes the 1st electrode 15 is the closest to.</p> |
