<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detecting method in which an angle detecting device is not required and in which the angle of rotation of a radar can be detected by using a simple mechanism, by a method wherein a reflecting body is installed so as to be fixed at the front in the intermediate point between a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna, and the angle of rotation of the radar is detected on the basis of its reflection intensity. SOLUTION: A transmitting antenna 1 and a receiving antenna 2 are installed on the same jig so as to be turned. When a radar is turned in the clockwise direction around the rotation center 11, reflected waves by the beam of a radar side robe 8 from the transmitting antenna 1 are received by a reflecting body 10 which is installed at the front in the intermediate point between the transmitting antenna 1 and the receiving antenna 2, and they are detected by a radar modem 12 as a signal at a distance of 0 m. When both antennas 1, 2 are turned, reflected waves by the beam of a main robe 6 from the transmitting antenna 1 are detected at a distance of 0 m. When both antenna 1, 2 are turned further, reflected waves by the beam of a side robe 7 from the transmitting antenna 1 are detected at a distance of 0 m. When both antennas 1, 2 continue their rotation further, they make one rotation, the same phenomenon is generated, and reflected waves at a distance of 0 m are detected three times during one rotation. When the intensity of the reflected waves is measured three times in one cycle, it is possible to judge the direction of radiation of the beam.</p> |
