PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile device capable of preventing useless load from being imposed on a communication network in the case of transmitting the information, which is received through a public network, through a communication network to an information processor. SOLUTION: Concerning this communication control method, when the reception of facsimile at a personal computer(PC) through a local area network(LAN) is reported and the transfer of information received from the PC is designated in response to this notice from the PC later (step S22), based on a signal outputted from a simplified display circuit, it is discriminated whether the simplification of transmission is selected or not and when the simplification of transmission is selected, the information received through facsimile is transmitted through the LAN to the correspondent PC with transmission ability lower than reception ability at the time of facsimile reception (steps S24 and S26).
