PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take isolation even with a high frequency between a pair of transmission/reception devices without using the RF switches of multiple stages, to secure an insertion loss, to control the attenuation quantity of transmission signal power and to monitor the operation state of a standby system in a hot standby type transmission device. SOLUTION: A hot standby type transmission device is provided with a first transmission part 1a and a second transmission part 1b, which have the frequency conversion parts 5 of upper sideband wave signal/lower sideband wave signal power adjusting-types, amplifiers 6 and filters 7 and a control part 4 inputting a control signal switching the frequency conversion parts 5 of the upper sideband wave signal/lower sideband wave signal power adjusting- types in the first transmission part 1a and the second transmission part 1b to a present system or a standby system.
