PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the damaging of the inner surface of a neck in insertion and enhance quality by installing a guide means in the outer circumferential part of an air supply nozzle, and inserting the air supply nozzle into the neck through the guide means. SOLUTION: An air supply nozzle 32 is formed in a slender pipe shape, has a guide means 33 coming in contact with the inner surface of a neck 14a in the outer circumferential part, and one end of the nozzle pipe is supported with an elastic means 31 installed in an air supply pipe 30b and the other end is supported on the inner surface of the neck 14a through the guide means 33. This means that the air supply nozzle 32 is supported in almost parallel to the tube axis Z of a cathode ray tube placed aslant on a bulb supporting plate 28 with an elastic means 31 so as to position on the tube axis Z. By inserting the air supply nozzle 32 into the neck 14a through the guide means 33, the tip of the air supply nozzle 32 does not directly come in contact with the inner surface of the neck 14a. As a result, damage such as scratches or break on the inner surface of the neck 14a can be reduced.
