PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball rolling groove inspection device capable of positioning a measurement probe via a relatively easy work, and restraining a work time required for an inspection work. SOLUTION: This device 1 is used for inspecting a rolling groove where a ball rolls, such as in the screw shaft of a ball screw or the guide rail of a linear guide. Also, the device 1 has a base frame 10, the first frame 11, the second frame 12 and a sensor part 14. The base frame 10 supports the first frame 11 via a plate spring 16 in such a state as freely movable along an arrow A direction. At the same time, the first frame 11 supports the second frame 12 via the second plate spring 17 in such a state as freely movable in an arrow B direction. The second frame 12 has an arm part 18 and a spherical measurement probe 13 of the same diameter as a ball is provided on the forward end of the arm part 18. The sensor part 14 measures the displacement of the measurement probe 13 via a displacement measurement probe 19 fitted to the second frame 12.
