PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickup capable of adjusting respective values independently by two-system adjusting circuits, by separating electrically a damping adjusting circuit for adjusting a damping element from a sensitivity adjusting circuit for adjusting sensitivity of a pickup. SOLUTION: A generating coil 5 and a damping adjusting coil 6, supported by support springs 7, 7, are arranged on a circular gap part between an outside magnetic pole 2a and an inside magnetic pole 3, and a sensitivity adjusting circuit is composed by connecting in series the generating coil 5 and a sensitivity adjusting resistance 9, and a damping adjusting circuit is composed by connecting in series the damping adjusting coil 6 and a damping adjusting resistance 10, to thereby separate both circuits electrically. And, sensitivity (output level) of an electromotive-type pickup 1 is adjusted by adjusting the value of the sensitivity adjusting resistance 9 also, damping force against vibrations of the generating coil 5 and the damping adjusting coil 6 is adjusted by adjusting the value of the damping adjusting resistance 10 namely, sensitivity adjustment and damping adjustment can be executed independently.
