REGENERATOR IN ABSORPTION TYPE REFRIGERATING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerator in an absorption type refrigerating machine which has a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: A regenerator 1 which leads in an absorbent from an absorber of an absorption type refrigerating machine, heats it and separates a refrigerant therefrom is constituted of a heating part 2 heating the absorbent led in and a vapor-liquid separating part 3 separating the refrigerant from the absorbent heated in the heating part 2. In this case, the heating part 2 is constituted of a heating vessel 14 wherein header chambers 11 and 12 are formed in the lower and upper parts and a heating chamber 13 in the intermediate part respectively, while a plurality of heat transfer tubes 15 communicating with the lower and upper header chambers 11 and 12 are disposed in the heating chamber 13 of this heating vessel 14. A vertical type heating burner 16 is provided in one side wall part corresponding to the heating chamber 13 and the bores of the heat transfer tubes 15 located to the other side wall part, out of the heat transfer tubes 15 in a plurality, are made smaller than those of the tubes to the one side wall part.
