PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pushbutton telephone set and its incoming call reply method where trouble of maintenance at a maintenance destination is avoided and which is maintained remotely in the case of absence and is applicable to a communication network not using a caller ID. SOLUTION: Upon receipt of incoming call information, a main control section 12 checks whether or not the external line is a dial-in line. In the case of the dial-in line, the control section 12 transits to a state of awaiting reception of dial-in information from an external line I/F section 11 and monitors whether or not dial-in information is received within a prescribed time. In the case that the dial-in information is received from the external line I/F section 11 within a prescribed time, control of dial-in information analysis section 16 is started to retrieve a table in a dial-in service storage section 17. When received dial-in information is registered on the table and the service attribute corresponding to the received dial-in information indicates maintenance, a maintenance control section 14 is started and remote maintenance is conducted.
