PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a slow shutter by simple structure without being affected by driving timing of a shift pulse and a charge discharging pulse as a shutter pulse by masking the shift pulse and the charge discharging pulse from a timing generator only for a specified period. SOLUTION: The shift pulse and the charge discharge pulse form the timing generator are masked for only the specified period. A shutter mask signal is normally outputted as low and is constituted so that the shift pulse (XSG) and the charge discharging pulse (XSUB) from the timing generator (SSG) 8 are inputted in a CCD 2 as they are. And when exposure time is desired to be set as longer than V-sync cycle, the shutter mask signal is set as high, supply of the shift pulse (XSG) and the charge discharging pulse (XSUB) to the CCD 2 is stopped, ejecting operation of the charge and a shifting operation of the electric charge to a vertical register of the CCD 2 are stopped.
